Bluebonnet Photos

     Good morning everyone, I've been working very diligently on your photos and will have them posted this evening. I am doing some final adjustments, then I can upload them to garvin.zenfolio.com. I will provide everyone with a link to the galleries, where you can purchase individual prints up to 8x10 and/or individual high-res digital images. I am also making other products available, such as coffee mugs, postage stamps, magnets, and mouse pads for those of you who are interested. They make great gifts for family and friends. If you opt for one of the package deals on the flier, please e-mail me instead with the package number and make a list for each size (8x10, 5x7, 4x6) with the photo ID number (every photo has a unique number in the gallery). On a side note, 8x10 prints are going to be $9.99 instead of $14.99! Also, the prints you purchase from me are superior to any you can have made at a drugstore or department store in that they are made in a professional lab where a technician adjusts and optimizes the images before printing, then sends the images to a professional photo printer with premium photo paper, producing rich, vibrant tones and contrast.
     Special Order Requests
     I can also make custom packages if one of the packages on the flier does not meet your needs. Please e-mail me with the sizes and quantities you want and I will send you a quote for your custom package. The same goes for large prints (11x14 and larger). If you want something special, like a DVD slideshow movie ($40) or special processing, like the triptych below, please e-mail me with your request. If you want a DVD slideshow movie, and you want music, please provide me with the music by sending me mp3 or wmv files with 1 or 2 songs or musical compositions.

     DVD's
     If you want the deal where I sell you a DVD with all of the image files from your session for $25, please e-mail me with that request as well. Each DVD will have all of the photos you see in your gallery and comes with a protective plastic case. I will sell additional DVDs for $10 each, and those will also come with a protective case. The DVD case is perfectly sized for 5x7 prints that can be inserted on both the front and back covers, so hint: DVD + 2 - 5x7's = great gift idea. 
     Shipping
     On each order of a custom package, large prints, or DVD's, regardless of the size or number of items, add $5 for shipping to cover shipping materials and postage. If you order prints or products directly from the gallery, shipping will be calculated and automatically added to your total. NEW APRIL 10TH BLUEBONNET MAP, DIRECTIONS, AND PRICES!

Hello everyone!

My lovely wife and I hopped on the motorcycle today and took a ride out to Chappell Hill to locate another spot for bluebonnet photos. As luck would have it, we found a nice field open to the public just down the road from Chappell Hill Sausage. The bluebonnets were starting to pop here, and by next weekend, I think they'll be nice and thick! I snapped a shot of the field for your viewing pleasure:

And here are the directions:

• Get on Highway 290 going west (out of town) toward Chappell Hill / Brenham (but if you manage to get to the TOWN of Chappell Hill, you have gone way too far!)
• Once you cross the Brazos river, you will soon see Chappell Hill Sausage Co. on your right:

• From that point, the field is on the right hand side of the road, 1.5 miles past Chappell Hill Sausage. There is only a small dirt road marking the entrance to the field, but you will likely see other cars already parked out there. Just keep an eye on the right side of the road. There is a crossover point on the highway just past the field if you miss it and have to turn back around for another try. Look for my truck with a banner on the tailgate that says GEORGE GARVIN PHOTOGRAPHY.

PLEASE NOTE: Bluebonnet Photo Location Change!

Oh no! I was just informed the field where all of the bluebonnets should be growing this year is being developed into a church, and there is cement and pipes laying all over the field. I was not aware of this plan until today, and it is a shame to see it go. I will be scouting a new location nearby this weekend and will post a new map with directions. There are a number of fields in the Chappell Hill area and it shouldn't take me long to find a suitable replacement field. Thank you and check back throughout the week for the updated information.
