NEW APRIL 10TH BLUEBONNET MAP, DIRECTIONS, AND PRICES!

Hello everyone!
My lovely wife and I hopped on the motorcycle today and took a ride out to Chappell Hill to locate another spot for bluebonnet photos. As luck would have it, we found a nice field open to the public just down the road from Chappell Hill Sausage. The bluebonnets were starting to pop here, and by next weekend, I think they'll be nice and thick! I snapped a shot of the field for your viewing pleasure:

And here are the directions:
  • Get on Highway 290 going west (out of town) toward Chappell Hill / Brenham (but if you manage to get to the TOWN of Chappell Hill, you have gone way too far!)
  • Once you cross the Brazos river, you will soon see Chappell Hill Sausage Co. on your right:
  • From that point, the field is on the right hand side of the road, 1.5 miles past Chappell Hill Sausage. There is only a small dirt road marking the entrance to the field, but you will likely see other cars already parked out there. Just keep an eye on the right side of the road. There is a crossover point on the highway just past the field if you miss it and have to turn back around for another try. Look for my truck with a banner on the tailgate that says GEORGE GARVIN PHOTOGRAPHY.
  • Here is a map to help get you there (click for larger map):
  • Here are the prices:

    • Sitting Fee - FREE!
    • 8X10 prints - $14.99
    • 5X7 prints - $4.99
    • 4X6 prints - $1.99
    • digital prints on CD or DVD - $4.99 per image (high res jpg)
  • I will be out there for the entire day, from sunup until sundown. See you there!

  2. No, just come on out whenever you want! I think trying to do a schedule would be a nightmare, and I think there will be more than enough time to get everyone's photos. See you there!
